“In Times of National Need”

In Times of National Need

When there are natural or man made tragedies affecting a huge number of people, it calls for many other caring people to step in offering their time, necessary help and to give as much assistance as possible. Sometimes it might not be quite as much assistance as needed, but it should always be as much as available and as soon as possible.

Naturally, it also involves much team work and by preferably as many trained individuals, when it’s at all possible. These times call for responsible leaders and trained people to help and guide others that volunteer their help and support.

Any disaster as catastrophic as Katrina or the wild destructive fires in California or in times of any type of national emergency, both natural or man caused disasters, call for well trained supervised assistance. This would cover all forms of organized help supplies and support. Everything from sufficient shelters, food, ways to prepare the food, safe water, clothing if needed, bathing facilities, sanitation, plus provide any medical needs to these involved victims.

Some of these people indeed need more help than another's and this is without question. The less fortunate, such as the neediest, children, the elderly, and the ill or injured individuals. Therefore, common sense says, any and all assisted help is to be offered accordingly.

I'm saying, people do need to try to help out and get involved to help these people, if and when it is at all possible to do so. This has been and will always be (until the end of time) the only working method for any successful rebuilding and survival, when there has been any kind of a devastating disaster.

We need to stick together when times get tough, reach out to help one another and be a more caring society.

Some of these people that are affected absolutely do need more help than others. Therefore, common sense says, any and all assisted help is to be offered accordingly. First and always, assistance goes to the most needy and sick!

Afterward, and secondly, assistance will immediately follow by going to the less needy individuals and less injured. This is the fair, humane and educated way to conduct assistance in times of any disaster.

Yes it is true to say, there are serious mistakes in all societies, concerning this kind of issue, but we can learn from these same mistakes, if we sincerely do care to do this. No society exist that is perfect or without fault.

So let’s try harder to learn from our past history and past mistakes! Lets go on from here with a more educated approach. Remembering the things we have learned about these situations. These times where it calls for us all to be a real team and try to give in to the needy that must try to rebuilding from nothing at all, rebuild after these dreadful disasters of any kind both natural or man made.

We all need to play a more serious part in supporting and helping out a broken city, or a twin tower tragedy, or a population disaster of any type.

“We should and we will help our fellow man in their time of need and in their time of misfortune.”

I would like to hear your thoughts on this same subject? Care to share them?

Thanks for listening and your thoughts are welcomed.
